A healthy diet plan

I suddenly realized I need to do something with my eating habits. My diet is not healthy at all so I decided to go to a doctor to get some tips about a healthy diet plan. I had to tell him the sad truth. I didn"t follow any rules for a healthy diet plan, basically I had no plan at all. I eat irregularly and I don"t think much about what I eat. He told me that it is very bad and this could the reason why I feel so bad. Of course he wanted me to get examined as soon as possible, like blood pressure, my head and everything. But he told me that a healthy diet plan would help me get started on my way to a healthier lifestyle and better feeling. My healthy diet plan should contain five healthy meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, a mid-morning snack and a mid-afternoon snack, and of course fruit and vegetables. I am aware that maintaining a healthy weight requires commitment and motivation. But this will help me feel better and better. I just need to learn how to eat a nutritionally balanced diet that is based on a variety of food distributed in the right proportions across fat, protein and carbohydrate food groups. I am sure I can make it sooner or later.
